The rule is simple: Climathélie requires no account, shows no ads and embeds no advertising trackers.
To display a place's climate, the app sends the requested location's coordinates to Open-Meteo's servers, which return the climate data (Copernicus ERA5 reanalysis). No account, no personal identifier: only the queried position travels. Responses are then kept on your device for offline mode.
Searching among the 7,778 cities happens entirely in your browser, and your settings (language, units, viewed places) are stored only on your device.
Payments are handled by Stripe, a certified payment provider. Your card number never passes through our servers; Stripe only tells us the purchase was completed.
As with any website, our hosting provider may keep technical logs (IP address, pages visited) required for the operation and security of the service.
